Tennis Dresses and Halloween Parties

The recent display of fashion trends in tennis dresses in the US open is quite good for upcoming Halloween parties in October. It looks like most female elite tennis players have quite good fashion designs in their tennis dresses these days, not just standard tournament issued dresses a few years back.

In the US open, the no 1 seed Caroline Worniacki wore a yellow top tennis dress, very suitable for anyone wanting to go to Halloween parties as world number 1. In addition to that, she had her fingernails painted yellow, and with her blonde hair flowing in the wind, it was certainly a huge fashion statement, with the colours blending beautifully into one another.

The ever fashionable Maria Sharapova wore 2 sets of tennis dresses, both with the brand nike on them, in the US open. More akin to the eye is the purple one. This allows Sharapova to stand out and yet also blend into the background, and she becomes a fearsome purple blur as she retrieves the opponents' ball.

One tennis dress that has mesmerized is the one worn by Maria Sharapova at the Australian Open. This one looks silky and comfortable, and is another bold fashion statement going onto the tennis court and going for Halloween parties. However, if those 2 Sharapova inspired dresses do not inspire you, then go for the Lavander arc shaped tennis dress with satin stripes and neck area for comfort and sensuality.

Of course, there is the other half of the Battle of the Pin-Up Tennis Queens in the 2008 Australian Open Final - Ana Ivanoic. Although she has fallen down the WTA tennis rankings, her tennis outfits still commands bewildering respect everytime Ana steps onto the court. In the recent US open just ended, her purple top pink dress tennis dress made it hard for anyone to look away as she danced her way into the latter stages of the tournament. Certainly a no brainer for the upcomign Halloween parties.

For those who wish to dress up in the traditional Wimbledon style tennis dress to Halloween parties, there is the all white tennis dress. Certainly this fashion style is still rather trendy in the US open, with stars like Agnieska Radwanska and US Open semifinalist Vera Zvonareva all opting to dress up in white tennis dresses. Definitely the all time favourite.
