Batman the Dark Knight Rises Character Costumes

The Batman third movie the Dark Knight Rises is shrouded in secrecy. However some characters involved in the Dark Knight Rises have emerged including Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and the emergence of the Super Villain Bane (see below for picture). As more actors and actresses have been recruited for the third batman movie, let's speculate on the batman the dark knight rises characters that may appear and their costumes they will be wearing.

Another female batman the dark knight rises character has been added to the third batman movie with the addition of Juno Temple to the Batman third movie cast. There appears to be lots of characters that Temple could be asked to play in the Batman movie. One of the most obvious will be the legacy left behind by Joker - the role played by Harley Quinn, sidekick to Joker who never appeared in the second batman movie. Could Harley Quinn and her characteristic blue vs black clown costume appear in the third batman movie?

Another female character that could be played in the female version of Batman - Batgirl. It has been many many seasons since Alicia Silverstone played the role of Batgirl, alongside Robin in the original Batman franchise. It's time for another Batgirl to turn up the heat against the bad guys. The typical Batgirl costume will be a sleeveless top against a mini-skirt and tights, with a black cape and the Bat emblem on the chest. Another female version of the typical Batman character could be the female Robin - so a red top costume, with the R sign on the left, yellow belt and green sleeves and green mini-skirt. Or could this female character be someone totally unexpected, like the League of Shadow's Talia Al Ghuy - daughter of Ra's Al Ghuy?

Similarly, the third batman movie sees the addition of Joseph Gordon-Levitt to the cast. Let's run through a series of Batman villains to see what character he would be protraying. Of course, Scarecrow, Ra Al Ghuy, Joker, Two-Face are already out. So who are left - this could be Clayface, Dr Hugo Strange, Man-Bat, the list goes on and on.

Clayface would be a hard but awesome halloween costume idea to try to create. Will one use clay or use a brown type overcoat and put the sign "Clayface" over the neck or forehead? Man-Bat will be easier to create. Turn some angel wings into bat wings and wear a bat mask. However monster type villains may not exist in this particular third batman movie.
