Conan the Barbarian Movie ie the new conan the destroyer movie will debut in August in 2011, in 3D. The Conan Barbarian movie motion poster has been released. The conan franchise has been a long one and was made into a movie starring Arnold Schwarnegger some time ago, and then made into a tv series and now the modern conan era begins with the new movie. The original conan movie had great special effects even though it was made in the 1980s. The new conan the barbarian movie should have fantastic effects now that it is made in this century, with fantastic modern costume ideas.

The lead role for the new conan the barbarian movie has gone to Jason Momoa, who leapt into science fiction fame being the tough warrior in Stargate Atlantis. He looks quite the part of Conan given the photos being released during the filming process.

Prominent female actresses cast into the new conan movie and dressed up as barbarians and sorceress include Rose Mcgowan (Planet Terror, Charmed) and Rachel Nichols (Alias season 5, GI Joe). More stunning actresses now added to the science fiction medieval fantasy genre.
