Thor Movie Second Trailer Storyline - Leaving Much to Imagine in 3D

The thor movie second trailer is here, and judging from the contents of this second thor movie trailer, it leaves nothing much of the storyline to imagination, but whether the movie looks good in 3D, only one can imagine.

The thor movie second trailer shows Thor being cast down onto Earth and being found by Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Darcy (played by Kat Dennings) after their vehicle crashes onto him. Obviously Thor is not at all injured by the crash or the dumping onto Earth. He is, however, rather frustrated about his lack of powers (which is tied into his hammer Mjolnir), which he has lost. After being captured and manhandled by mortals on Earth, Thor is branded as a "homeless man" and released. Thor starts to defend Earth against the evil forces of Asgard who seek to destroy the entire Earth population.

Thor eventually falls in love with Jane Foster, and finds the human race rather loving (or amusing), and decides to stand up for the human race against his brother Loki who plots to destroy the human race for some sinister purpose (no doubt with obtaining more power). He sends a robotic fire spewing monstrosity to attack Earth (but starting with a small desert town). He meets the might of Thor without his hammer.

The Thor second movie trailer also shows Thor being sworn to defend his honour and hometown (Asgard) against the forces of evil. Somehow, Loki manages to frame Thor for something, that gets him sent to Earth by Odin. In the realm of Asgard, Thor battles more evil with a group of chosen Asgard warriors.

Who is the ultimate villain in the thor movie? Just Loki? or someone else or sinister. That is all the storyline one could deduce from viewing thor second movie trailer, for now.

Thor comes to a movie threater near you this coming May 2011.

The thor video game will be released at about the same time as the movie. From the looks of things, the thor video game is focused really on Thor and his battle against the forces of evil in Asgard, rather than on Earth, and the storyline appears to revolve around the powers and origins behind his mystical hammer Mjolnir. Unlike the Transformers Dark of the Moon video game who will give a prequel of Transformers Dark of the Moon storyline, the thor video game does not appear to be a prequel of events leading up to the events in Thor the movie.

Looks fun to play with anyway. Wield the mighty Mjolnir, and unleash the fury and power of the God of Thunder - Thor.
